The Excel Elise covers an age range from around 2 to 8 years, although suitability is more about size rather than age. This larger model is based on the standard 'umbrella style' folding strollers, the Excel Elise is essentially just a larger version. It has an adjustable footplate which can be positioned at three levels to suit the child's leg length so the pushchair can grow with the child. WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?Often the Next Working Day!When we dispatch your order we will send tracking details to your email. You will likely receive a text or email notifying you of delivery from the courier. If you click on the tracking link this will have the latest information on your delivery and often even a real time map showing where the delivery van is.We do offer Saturday delivery in the checkout at a premium cost, in order to be dispatched for delivery on Saturday your order would need to have been placed by 12pm Thursday at the latest (we cannot book Saturday deliveries on Fridays).Our courier often arrives later than 2pm to collect from us so some orders after 2pm will still be dispatched the same day, please specify in the checkout if you would like a specific weekday for delivery.WHO WILL DELIVER YOUR ORDER?We usually send this product by Parcelforce Express 24 Service or DPD Next Working Day, but in some situations (e.g. Parcelforce delays in your area) we may choose DHL or Fedex, your tracking email will clearly state which courier will be delivering.WHERE?We can deliver to a different address if you will be out or if you are buying for someone else, simply select 'Deliver to Different Address' in the checkout. The Excel Elise is designed specially for an older or larger child who has outgrown a toddlers pushchair but still needs wheels for mobility, either because they can't walk far enough or they won't walk safely and reliably in the direction you need to go. To assess whether it is suitable for your child we first ask you to consider your child’s size and weight, their age can be misleading. The pushchair is tested to a weight of 50kg and there are some retailers who advertise that it is suitable for a 10 year old, perhaps because an average 10 year old will be around 50kg and it’s likely the warranty would have run out by the time the child gets to this size. If your 10 year old weighing 50kg is able to fit in the pushchair seat, is very co-operative, you are using it on perfectly smooth surfaces and you are strong enough to push it then it may still work! The reality is a bit different, we tend to find that a standard sized 8 year old will start to outgrow the leg length at around 35kg. The umbrella-style design (a copy of the original Maclaren Major Elite) makes it easy to fold (you do need to take the footplate off first). When folded it is lightweight but long. The Excel Elise has an adjustable footplate which can be fitted higher or lower as appropriate for your child’s lower leg length.The seat fabric wraps around the side of the pushchair, providing some padding to the metal frame and covering the gap in the frame which some children like to put their hands through. The seat has a built in adjustable height five point adjustable harness for safety.
